Rehabilitation needs to focus on the person, not the test results. Test results should be used to support assessment findings, and assist in the prognosis and/or the prediction for recovery outcomes and timeframes.
The body has a wonderful built in mechanism for dealing with injuries. Over icing and overuse of NSAIDs do NOT support this mechanism. Rehabilitation protocols should be created to support our own built in systems for healing, NOT contradict them.

The concept of “core strength” was an amazing concept in its origin. But it has been changed drastically by the fitness world, and even the medical world, to being more detrimental than it is good. True “core strength” is about how well our muscles and joints sequence together to create healthy movement—it is NOT a static state.
